My story
It started in high school. Coming up on sixteen, I was self conscious about how I looked, and like a lot of young Aussie lifters in the Zyzz era I fell in love with one simple idea: build the physique and the confidence follows. So I picked up the weights at fifteen and never put them down.
The first few years were trial and error, mostly error. The internet was full of the wrong information and I followed plenty of it. Too much volume, poor nutrition, dirty bulks, and the classic mistake of thinking calories were all that mattered without ever asking where those calories were coming from. I made the mistakes myself, so I know exactly what they look like and exactly what they cost you.
What changed everything was getting genuinely obsessed with the mechanisms behind it all. Not just what to do in the gym, but why it works. Training, nutrition and supplementation stopped being guesswork and became a system. The last four years of focused, in-depth training built my physique off the back of that knowledge, and along the way I started programming for my mates and watching it work for them too.
These days my philosophy is simple, because simple is what actually works. Nail the core principles, stay consistent, and let the details serve the fundamentals instead of replacing them. That is how I train, and it is exactly how I coach.
